Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026

Diction is a vocabulary-learning app by DEEPCO LLC. This policy explains what information Diction collects, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect

Diction does not require an account, name, email address, or phone number to use the app. To operate and improve the app, we collect:

How we use information

We use this information to provide Diction’s learning experience, preserve your progress, improve lesson selection and app reliability, and review feedback. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

How information is stored and shared

Learning activity and feedback are stored using cloud infrastructure operated by Amazon Web Services. We use service providers only to host and operate Diction. We do not share your information with advertisers or use it for cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Some lesson data and current-session state are also stored locally on your device. Removing the app removes locally stored app data from the device, subject to your device and backup settings.

Retention and deletion

We keep learning activity and feedback only for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and improve Diction. Because Diction uses an anonymous device identifier rather than an account, we may need that identifier to locate a specific record. You may ask us to delete information associated with your app installation by contacting us.

Children

Diction is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Diction changes. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date.
